Electra expands its Boost subscription across the entire ChargeLeague network
17 dic 2025
While the EV charging sector continues to become more structured across Europe. Electra is launching a major upgrade to its subscription offer that could be a game-changer for many electric vehicle drivers.
A subscription that opens up to competitors
Until now, the Electra+ Boost subscription only allowed access to preferential rates on the Electra network. Starting this December 8, subscribers can now benefit from discounted prices across all stations in the ChargeLeague network, which brings together three other major operators: Atlante, Fastned and Ionity.
This decision marks an interesting turning point in a sector where operators have tended to develop their own closed ecosystems with dedicated apps and subscriptions.
In practical terms, what changes?
For €9.99 per month (no commitment), Electra+ subscribers on the Boost offer now get access to:
€0.29/kWh on Electra chargers
On ChargeLeague partner networks in France
€0.49/kWh in France
€0.54/kWh in Spain
€0.59/kWh in Belgium
€0.64/kWh in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg
The main benefit? Avoiding multiple subscriptions. For a driver who regularly charges on different networks, this is a notable simplification and potentially substantial savings.
A European network of 11,000 chargers
ChargeLeague is not a small network. This alliance between four major fast-charging players represents:
More than 1,700 stations across 25 European countries
More than 11,000 ultra-fast charging points
Particularly dense coverage along motorway corridors
For drivers who regularly travel across Europe, this is significant coverage that becomes accessible via a single subscription.
A winning strategy for everyone?
This approach could well become a model for the future. Our goal is to make the subscription even more accessible and beneficial for all drivers
For users, the equation is simple. Let’s take a few examples of competitor pricing:
Fastned : €0.59/kWh at the standard rate, or €0.41/kWh with a €11.99/month subscription
IONITY : between €0.39 and €0.59/kWh depending on the subscription plans (€59.99 to €119.99 per year)
With a single Electra+ Boost subscription at €9.99/month, a driver can access an intermediate rate of €0.49/kWh with these operators, without having to juggle multiple apps and subscriptions.
Which user profile is this for?
This offer seems particularly relevant for drivers who charge frequently on the Electra network and occasionally elsewhere. But also for people who regularly take long trips across Europe or those who want to simplify their charging management without multiplying subscriptions
A trend to watch?
This Electra initiative is part of the ChargeLeague momentum, launched a few months ago. The alliance aims to simplify the charging experience in Europe by allowing users of a member app to access all stations in the network.
The offer is available right now via the Electra app, with the first month free by using the promo code PLUS2.
