Contest Rules – Electra
Article 1 – Organizer
The contest is exclusively organized and managed by Electra Belux BV, BE0792.184.845, with its registered office in Brussels (hereinafter referred to as “Electra”).
Electra is the sole party responsible for organizing, executing, communicating, and processing personal data in connection with this contest.
Delhaize NV is not the organizer, sponsor, or responsible party for this contest. Delhaize only provides logistical support by promoting the contest to its customers, without any further involvement.
For all questions, complaints, or comments regarding this contest, participants may contact Electra only, through the official contact channels mentioned on the contest page.
Article 2 – Purpose of the Contest
Electra is organizing a competition in which participants have the chance to win €100 in SuperPlus points (equivalent to €100 worth of Delhaize benefits via the MyDelhaize app). One winner will be selected per participating Delhaize store.
This contest is valid only in the participating Delhaize stores listed at the end of these rules.
The contest is an exclusive initiative by Electra. Participation, data processing, and prize distribution are entirely the responsibility of Electra.
The winner will be selected based on knowledge and estimation; chance does not play a decisive role.
Article 3 – Conditions of Participation
To participate validly, the participant must, between 03/11/2025 and 30/11/2025 (dates subject to change by Electra if necessary):
Open the contest landing page via a click or QR code;
Link their Electra app or charging card to MyDelhaize;
Complete a valid charging session with Electra at one of the participating Delhaize stores (see list below);
Correctly answer the knowledge question: “What are the different payment methods available at an Electra terminal?* (reference date: 01/11/2025)”
Answer the tie-breaker question: “How many people will take part in this contest?”
Accept the contest rules.
Each participant may only enter once, namely at the store where they first completed a valid charging session (from 03/11/2025 onwards).
Article 4 – Exclusions
Not eligible to participate are:
Employees and associates of Electra, as well as their subcontractors;
Their family members or relatives in the first degree, and their partners.
Electra reserves the right to exclude participants who do not meet the conditions or attempt to manipulate the contest.
Article 5 – Selection and Announcement of Winners
The winner per store will be the participant who:
Has correctly completed all required steps, and
Has given the correct answer to the knowledge question, and
Has provided the most accurate answer to the tie-breaker question.
The selection of winners is carried out objectively, based on knowledge and estimation. Chance does not play a decisive role in determining the winner, in accordance with Belgian gambling legislation.
Winners will be personally notified by email no later than 31/12/2025.
They must confirm and accept their prize by 15/01/2026 at the latest.
If a winner fails to respond in time, Electra reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.
Article 6 – Prizes
Each winner will receive €100 in SuperPlus points, which will be directly credited to their MyDelhaize account.
The prize is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits. Electra reserves the right to replace the prize with an equivalent alternative if circumstances require.
Article 7 – Liability
Electra reserves the right to modify, postpone, or shorten the contest if external circumstances make it necessary.
Electra cannot be held liable for technical failures, connection problems, or errors in the data provided by participants.
Delhaize is in no way responsible or liable for the organization, participation, or awarding of prizes, nor for any direct or indirect damages resulting therefrom.
Article 8 – Data Protection
The personal data collected in connection with this contest are processed solely by Electra Belux BV, acting as data controller in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
The data will only be used for:
Managing and executing the contest;
Contacting the winners;
And, with consent, sending communications from Electra.
Participants may unsubscribe from Electra communications at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting Electra directly.
For the delivery of the prize, the winner expressly authorizes Electra to share only the strictly necessary data (name, email address, and MyDelhaize identification) with Delhaize, solely for the technical allocation of the SuperPlus points.
The processing of personal data complies with the Electra Privacy Policy, where participants can find all additional information about their rights, data retention periods, and how to exercise their rights.
Article 9 – Acceptance of the Rules
By participating in the contest, each participant fully agrees to these rules, including the provisions regarding data processing and privacy.
Article 10 – Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These rules are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
In case of disputes, only the courts of Brussels shall have jurisdiction.
