As its recent €15 million fundraising opens up new horizons, Electra is shaping its organisation by announcing the recruitment of three new specialists in finance, ecological transition and communication. The objective is for Aurélien de Meaux, CEO of Electra, to be surrounded by managers with a high level of expertise in their respective fields so as to support the company's rapid development.

Electra raises €15 million to revolutionise electric car charging

Electra, a new French company, is reinventing electric car charging with a network of ultra-fast hubs and an ultra-simple user experience. To put an end to the hassle of charging, the company has announced that it has raised €15 million from its investors, which is the largest SEED fundraising in France in 2021. Its objective is to accelerate the switch to electric mobility by tackling the main obstacle, which is charging, by implementing a charging network of 1,000 ultra-fast hubs by 2030.

Fast vehicle charging: a virtuous model?

When they created Electra, the three founders, Aurélien de Meaux, Augustin Derville and Julien Belliato, aimed at enabling everyone to live in less polluted and less noisy cities, not to mention the added value in terms of consumer services.
