After having revolutionised electric vehicle charging by inventing the reservation system, Electra launches Station Access.
Some Electra charging points are located in car parks closed by barriers in the evening (hotels, business parks, etc.) or in paying car parks (shopping centres, airports, railway stations, etc.). To allow all users to recharge simply and without stress, by having access to all sites 24/7, Electra opens all barriers to them thanks to its app. A simple and innovative experience for the user, which preserves the control of the site for the land partner (hotel, shopping centre, station, airport, ...). A first in France!
No more barriers to charging
Electra's product-tech team is made up of 30 experts who work every day to simplify the user experience of electromobilists who want to recharge their vehicles. To this end, it is launching a new functionality that allows the opening of barriers, gates, doors and gates leading to its charging points to be controlled.

The barrier opens
When charging is complete, the same system allows the vehicle to exit.
The site's secure pedestrian accesses are also equipped with a connected box, which allows the user to enter and leave the site freely while recharging their vehicle. The accesses are unique and nominative, to give the site owner greater peace of mind.
Electra can also link charging and parking billing directly from the Electra mobile application. This saves time and makes it easier for the user.
If you haven't booked via the Electra app, you can...
You scan the QR code at the entrance to the site and receive a one-time code by SMS to be typed on the connected digicode.
Access to car parks with number plate recognition...
Here, Electra connects directly via API to the car park operator's system and allows its users access in a completely transparent and secure manner.
And technically, how does access to an Electra charging station closed by a barrier work?
Electra offers fast charging stations for electric vehicles. Co-founded by Aurélien de Meaux, Augustin Derville and Julien Belliato, the company's ambition is to definitively erase the barriers to the adoption of electric cars by deploying a massive, fast and efficient recharging network. The company has the trust of major groups such as AccorInvest, LSGI, Altarea Commerce, Indigo, Louvre Hotels Group, Primonial REIM France, the Chopard Group and Jardiland. With the support of 80 high-level experts, the company invests heavily in innovation and research for the benefit of a unique user experience: rich, intuitive and customisable mobile interfaces. All of this, within the framework of a dense network with a fleet of more than 8,000 charging points available by 2030. www.go-electra.com
